PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • For our 2024 cohort we are scouting professional artists in the following fields:

    • Music, Production & Engineering

    • Film/Theatre

    • Digital Arts, Filmography and Photography

    • Cosmetology & Fashion

    You should have at least 3-years of field experience and/or a degree in the field (recent graduates and upcoming graduates will be considered

  • Anyone interested in being apart of the progam are welcome to submit an application. However, our team will go through a very selective process to narrow down our the applicants we interview and those selected.

  • The Arts Embassy Leadership Academy is specifically designed to be the personal & professional development tool for the faculty and staff of the Arts Embassy Academy - launching fall of 2025. Our participants are required to commit to 24 months of both training and onsite teaching in the program (please see our requirements for more details

  • During our bi-monthly course modules, our trainings will be held on Zoom, every other week and in-person at Church on the Living Edge - 555 Markham Wood Rd, Longwood, FL 32779

  • No. However, the majority of our leadership is Christian. The principles and values of our training are based on biblical teachings, theology and practices. We do not require our participants to be Christians but we do expect 100% respect and trust in our developmental approac

PROGRAM COST & PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

  • NO!! Tuition cost for the participants selected is 100% covered. Each participant will be required to teach as a paid contractor during our 1-week summer program in 2024 and in our afterschool program in the spring of 2025.

  • All applicants will be notified if they are qualified for an interview. Selection interviews take place locally in the months of April & May. Participants are notified directly no later than mid-ma by the Program director o if they have been accepted or not.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All participants are required to hold an Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university OR have the ability to show the equivalent in experience - You must submit a resume during your application

  • All participants are required to complete the Fieldprint Background Screening Process for Seminole County School Board (prior to working with the students)

  • All participants are required to participate in the weekly 3hr - Wednesday meetings, every other month (see schedule below)

  • All participants are required to complete the 12-Month AEA Personal & Professional Development Program (Including 1-week of working with C.A.S.I and 8-Weeks of AEA Afterschool)

  • All participants are required to have 3-5 professional references and proof of your field experience

  • All participants are required to have an approved mentor (you will have 3-6 months once accepted to secure your mentor)

  • All participants are required to commit to 24 months of working the AEA Community
